Users can now view and download issues of the "Smoke Signals " The Black Swamp Area Council's Newsletter is a monthly publication. It goes out to all Scouting Volunteers in the Black Swamp Area Council. The months of January, April, July, and October are special Family issues which are distributed to every Scouting Family.
Smoke Signals is a great place to find out what is going on in the Council and in the Districts. If you are currently not receiving the newsletter and would like to contact Jane Potteiger at jpotteig
bsamail.org to be added to the list.
Submissions for an issue of Smoke Signals are due the first Friday of the prior month. For example, if an article needs to run in the May issue it must be submitted the first Friday of April. Submissions for District's pages should be given to the District Executive. Submissions for the Council's pages should be submitted to Field Director Nancy Sparks at nsparks
bsamail.org .
Check back often to download the latest issue. Back issues will be held for
