Centennial Quality Awards Program for 2007–2010
The Centennial Quality Awards program is designed to recognize units, districts, councils, areas, and regions in achieving excellence in providing a quality program to a growing youth population in America at all levels of the Boy Scouts of America.

Commissioner Conference
The BSAC/ESC Commissioners' Conference brings together skilled staff from two Councils to present practical, field-proven techniques in such topics as unit visits, unit leader counseling skills, unit charter renewal steps, commissioner priorities, unit problem solving, leader development, roundtable planning, the national Quality Unit Award, and Commissioner lifesaving.
Attend 4 sessions from any of the following: Introduction to Commissioners Service, Advancement, High Adventure, Venturing, Cub Camping / Family Camping, University of Scouting overview or Dutch Oven Cooking.
Trainer Development Conference
A one-day course designed to improve your teaching and presentation skills and familiarize you with principles, methods, and techniques used in effective training. Anyone who teaches scouts to scouters should could to this conference to learn how to put the "pizzazz" into whatever you do. Also, you can earn 2 credit hours toward a degree at the University of Scouting by completing this conference.Distinguished Commissioners Award
To upgrade Commissioner Service and to recognize Commissioners who are providing quality service.Distinguished Commissioner Service Award Plaque
approximately 5 x 7 inches. The medallion is cast in three colors:
- Council Commissioner -- silver
- District Commissioner, Assistant District Commissioner, and Roundtable Commissioners -- gold
- Unit Commissioner -- bronze
Distinguished Commissioner Service Bolo Tie
An embroidered square knot (silver knot on red background, may also be presented. Local councils certify the eligibility of individuals, and present the recognition. (There is no national application.)
